| Transliteration | Fatharhum hatta yulaqoo yawmahumu allathee feehi yusAAaqoona |
| Literal | So leave them until they meet/find their day/time which in it they die/get thunderstruck . |
| Yusuf Ali | So leave them alone until they encounter that Day of theirs, wherein they shall (perforce) swoon (with terror),- |
