al-A`raf (The Heights, The Elevated Places) 7:90

7:90 وقال الملا الذين كفروا من قومه لئن اتبعتم شعيبا انكم اذا لخاسرون


TransliterationWaqala almalao allatheena kafaroo min qawmihi la-ini ittabaAAtum shuAAayban innakum ithan lakhasiroona
LiteralAnd the nobles/assembly, those who disbelieved from his nation said: "If (E) you followed Shu'aib, that you are then losers (E) ."

Yusuf AliThe leaders, the unbelievers among his people, said: "If ye follow Shu'aib, be sure then ye are ruined!"
PickthalBut the chieftains of his people, who were disbelieving, said: If ye follow Shu'eyb, then truly ye shall be the losers.
Arberry Said the Council of those of his people who disbelieved, 'Now, if you follow Shuaib, assuredly in that case you will be losers.'
