52:25 واقبل بعضهم على بعض يتساءلون


TransliterationWaaqbala baAAduhum AAala baAAdin yatasaaloona
LiteralAnd some of them approached/came on (to) some (each other), they ask/question each other.

Yusuf AliThey will advance to each other, engaging in mutual enquiry.
PickthalAnd some of them draw near unto others, questioning,
Arberry They advance one upon another, asking each other questions.
ShakirAnd some of them shall advance towards others questioning each other.
SarwarThey will turn to one another ask questions,
KhalifaThey will meet each other and reminisce among themselves.
Hilali/KhanAnd some of them draw near to others, questioning.
H/K/SaheehAnd they will approach one another, inquiring of each other.
MalikThey will converse with one another about their worldly life[25]
QXPThey will socialize and reminisce among themselves (recalling how they lived the previous life).

Free MindsAnd they came to one another asking.
Qaribullah They will go to one another asking each other questions:

George SaleAnd they shall approach unto one another, and shall ask mutual questions.

AsadAnd they [who are thus blest] will turn to one another, asking each other [about their past lives]. [This symbolic "asking one another about their past lives" is meant to bring out the fact, often stressed in the Quran, that man's individual consciousness invariably survives his bodily death, to continue unbroken in the life to come.]
