al-Haqqah (The Reality, The Inevitable) 69:9

69:9 وجاء فرعون ومن قبله والمؤتفكات بالخاطئة


TransliterationWajaa firAAawnu waman qablahu waalmu/tafikatu bialkhati-ati
LiteralAnd Pharaoh came, and who (is) before him, and the overturned/destroyed cities with the sin .

Yusuf AliAnd Pharaoh, and those before him, and the Cities Overthrown, committed habitual Sin.
PickthalAnd Pharaoh and those before him, and the communities that were destroyed, brought error,
Arberry Pharaoh likewise, and those before him, and the Subverted Cities -- they committed error,
