| 7:65 والى عاد اخاهم هودا قال ياقوم اعبدوا الله مالكم من اله غيره افلا تتقون | |
| Transliteration | Wa-ila AAadin akhahum hoodan qala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha ma lakum min ilahin ghayruhu afala tattaqoona |
| Literal | And to Aad/an ancient tribe that could have been Hegaz, (We sent) their brother Hood, he said: "My nation worship God, (there is) no God for you from other than Him, so do you not fear and obey?" |
| Yusuf Ali | To the 'Ad people, (We sent) Hud, one of their (own) brethren: He said: O my people! worship Allah! ye have no other god but Him will ye not fear (Allah)?" |
