84:17 والليل وماوسق


TransliterationWaallayli wama wasaqa
LiteralAnd the night, and what carried/gathered/loaded.

Yusuf AliThe Night and its Homing;
PickthalAnd by the night and all that it enshroudeth,
Arberry and the night and what it envelops
ShakirAnd the night and that which it drives on,
Sarwaror by the night in which things all come together to rest,
KhalifaAnd the night as it spreads.
Hilali/KhanAnd by the night and whatever it gathers in its darkness;
H/K/SaheehAnd [by] the night and what it envelops
Malikby the night and all that it gathers together;[17]
QXPAnd the Night and all that it enshrouds.
Maulana AliAnd the night and that which it drives on,
Free MindsAnd the night and what it is driven on.
Qaribullah by the night and all that it envelops;

George Saleand by the night, and the animals which it driveth together,
