| 10:38 ام يقولون افتراه قل فاتوا بسورة مثله وادعوا من استطعتم من دون الله ان كنتم صادقين | |
| Transliteration | Am yaqooloona iftarahu qul fa/too bisooratin mithlihi waodAAoo mani istataAAtum min dooni Allahi in kuntum sadiqeena |
| Literal | Or they say: "He fabricated it ." Say: "So come/bring with a chapter of the Koran similar/equal to it and call whom you were able from other than God, if you were truthful." |
| Yusuf Ali | Or do they say, "He forged it"? say: "Bring then a Sura like unto it, and call (to your aid) anyone you can besides Allah, if it be ye speak the truth!" |
