16:34 فاصابهم سيئات ماعملوا وحاق بهم ما كانوا به يستهزؤون


TransliterationFaasabahum sayyi-atu ma AAamiloo wahaqa bihim ma kanoo bihi yastahzi-oona
LiteralSo sins/crimes (of) what they made/did struck/hit them , and what they were with it mocking/making fun (of) surrounded/afflicted with them.

Yusuf AliBut the evil results of their deeds overtook them, and that very (Wrath) at which they had scoffed hemmed them in.
PickthalSo that the evils of what they did smote them, and that which they used to mock surrounded them.
Arberry So the evil things that they wrought. smote them, and they were encompassed by that they mocked at.
