22:53 ليجعل مايلقى الشيطان فتنة للذين في قلوبهم مرض والقاسية قلوبهم وان الظالمين لفي شقاق بعيد | |
Transliteration | LiyajAAala ma yulqee alshshaytanu fitnatan lillatheena fee quloobihim maradun waalqasiyati quloobuhum wa-inna alththalimeena lafee shiqaqin baAAeedin |
Literal | To make what the devil throws (as) a test/seduction to those whom in their hearts/minds (is) sickness/disease, and their hearts/minds (are) the cruel/merciless , and that the unjust/oppressive (are)234in (E) far/distant defiance/animosity . |
Yusuf Ali | That He may make the suggestions thrown in by Satan, but a trial for those in whose hearts is a disease and who are hardened of heart: verily the wrong-doers are in a schism far (from the Truth): |
