3:146 وكاين من نبي قاتل معه ربيون كثير فما وهنوا لمااصابهم في سبيل الله وماضعفوا ومااستكانوا والله يحب الصابرين


TransliterationWakaayyin min nabiyyin qatala maAAahu ribbiyyoona katheerun fama wahanoo lima asabahum fee sabeeli Allahi wama daAAufoo wama istakanoo waAllahu yuhibbu alssabireena
LiteralAnd how many from a prophet fought/killed with him many knowledgeable Lord worshippers? So they did not weaken/enfeeble for (what) struck them in God's sake , and they did not weaken, and they did not become humiliated/disgraced, and God loves/likes the patient.

Yusuf AliHow many of the prophets fought (in Allah's way), and with them (fought) Large bands of godly men? but they never lost heart if they met with disaster in Allah's way, nor did they weaken (in will) nor give in. And Allah Loves those who are firm and steadfast.
