| Transliteration | Hunalika daAAa zakariyya rabbahu qala rabbi hab lee min ladunka thurriyyatan tayyibatan innaka sameeAAu aldduAAa/-i |
| Literal | At that place and time Zachary called his Lord, he said: "My Lord grant/present for me, from at you good descendants, that you are hearing/listening (to) the call/request/prayer." |
