3:92 لن تنالوا البر حتى تنفقوا مما تحبون وماتنفقوا من شئ فان الله به عليم | |
Transliteration | Lan tanaloo albirra hatta tunfiqoo mimma tuhibboona wama tunfiqoo min shay-in fa-inna Allaha bihi AAaleemun |
Literal | You will never/not obtain the righteousness/charitability until you spend from what you love/like, and what you spend from a thing, so then God (is) with it knowledgeable. |
Yusuf Ali | By no means shall ye attain righteousness unless ye give (freely) of that which ye love; and whatever ye give, of a truth Allah knoweth it well. |
Pickthal | Ye will not attain unto piety until ye spend of that which ye love. And whatsoever ye spend, Allah is Aware thereof. |
Arberry | You will not attain piety until you expend of what you love; and whatever thing you expend, God knows of it. |
