45:19 انهم لن يغنوا عنك من الله شيئا وان الظالمين بعضهم اولياء بعض والله ولي المتقين | |
Transliteration | Innahum lan yughnoo AAanka mina Allahi shay-an wa-inna alththalimeena baAAduhum awliyao baAAdin waAllahu waliyyu almuttaqeena |
Literal | That they truly will never/not enrich/avail (help) from you from God a thing, and that truly the unjust/oppressive some of them (are) guardians/allies (of) some, and God (is) guardian/ally (of) the fearing and obeying. |
Yusuf Ali | They will be of no use to thee in the sight of Allah: it is only Wrong-doers (that stand as) protectors, one to another: but Allah is the Protector of the Righteous. |
Pickthal | Lo! they can avail thee naught against Allah. And lo! as for the wrong-doers, some of them are friends of others; and Allah is the Friend of those who ward off (evil). |
Arberry | Surely they will not avail thee aught against God. Surely the evildoers are friends one of the other; God is the friend of the godfearing. |
