| 45:25 واذا تتلى عليهم اياتنا بينات ماكان حجتهم الا ان قالوا ائتوا بابائنا ان كنتم صادقين | |
| Transliteration | Wa-itha tutla AAalayhim ayatuna bayyinatin ma kana hujjatahum illa an qaloo i/too bi-aba-ina in kuntum sadiqeena |
| Literal | And if Our evidences/signs/verses are read/recited on (to) them, their argument was not except that (E) they said: "Come/bring with our fathers/forefathers if you were truthful." |
| Yusuf Ali | And when Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them their argument is nothing but this: They say, "Bring (back) our forefathers, if what ye say is true!" |
