| 6:98 وهو الذي انشاكم من نفس واحدة فمستقر ومستودع قد فصلنا الايات لقوم يفقهون | |
| Transliteration | Wahuwa allathee anshaakum min nafsin wahidatin famustaqarrun wamustawdaAAun qad fassalna al-ayati liqawmin yafqahoona |
| Literal | And He is who created/formed you from one (F) self, so a settled/established and depository/storage place/womb , We had detailed/explained the evidences/verses to a nation understanding/knowing/learning. |
| Yusuf Ali | It is He Who hath produced you from a single person: here is a place of sojourn and a place of departure: We detail Our signs for people who understand. |
| Pickthal | And He it is Who hath produced you from a single being, and (hath given you) a habitation and a repository. We have detailed Our revelations for a people who have understanding. |
| Arberry | It is He who produced you from one living soul, and then a lodging-place, and then a repository. We have distinguished the signs for a people who understand. |
| Shakir | And He it is Who has brought you into being from a single soul, then there is (for you) a resting-place and a depository; indeed We have made plain the communications for a people who understand. |

Indeed, We have explained in detail Our revelations (this Quran) for people who understand. |
