9:24 قل ان كان اباؤكم وابناؤكم واخوانكم وازواجكم وعشيرتكم واموال اقترفتموها وتجارة تخشون كسادها ومساكن ترضونها احب اليكم من الله ورسوله وجهاد في سبيله فتربصوا حتى ياتي الله بامره والله لايهدي القوم الفاسقين | |
Transliteration | Qul in kana abaokum waabnaokum wa-ikhwanukum waazwajukum waAAasheeratukum waamwalun iqtaraftumooha watijaratun takhshawna kasadaha wamasakinu tardawnaha ahabba ilaykum mina Allahi warasoolihi wajihadin fee sabeelihi fatarabbasoo hatta ya/tiya Allahu bi-amrihi waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alfasiqeena |
Literal | Say: "If your fathers, and your sons, and your brothers, and your spouses and your father's near relations/tribe, and properties/wealths you committed/perpetrated it, and commercial trade you fear its slump/depression , and residence you accept/approve it, (are) more lovable/likable to you than God and His messenger and struggling/defending for the faith in His way/path , so wait/remain until God comes with His123order/command, and God does not guide the nation the debauchers . |
Yusuf Ali | Say: If it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates, or your kindred; the wealth that ye have gained; the commerce in which ye fear a decline: or the dwellings in which ye delight - are dearer to you than Allah, or His Messenger, or the striving in His cause;- then wait until Allah brings about His decision: and Allah guides not the rebellious. |

Khalifa | Proclaim: "If your parents, your children, your siblings, your spouses, your family, the money you have earned, a business you worry about, and the homes you cherish are more beloved to you than GOD and His messenger, and the striving in His cause, then just wait until GOD brings His judgment." Hilali/Khan | Say: If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your kindred, the wealth that you have gained, the commerce in which you fear a decline, and the dwellings in which you delight are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger, and striving hard and fighting in His Cause, then wait until Allah brings about His Decision (torment). And Allah guides not the people who are Al-Fasiqoon (the rebellious, disobedient to Allah). |
