| 9:92 ولاعلى الذين اذا مااتوك لتحملهم قلت لااجد مااحملكم عليه تولوا واعينهم تفيض من الدمع حزنا الا يجدوا ماينفقون | |
| Transliteration | Wala AAala allatheena itha ma atawka litahmilahum qulta la ajidu ma ahmilukum AAalayhi tawallaw waaAAyunuhum tafeedu mina alddamAAi hazanan alla yajidoo ma yunfiqoona |
| Literal | And nor on those when/if they came to you to carry/bear them, you said: "I do not find what I carry you on it." They turned away and their eyes flow/over flow from the tears, sadness/grief that they not find what they (can) spend. |
| Yusuf Ali | Nor (is there blame) on those who came to thee to be provided with mounts, and when thou saidst, "I can find no mounts for you," they turned back, their eyes streaming with tears of grief that they had no resources wherewith to provide the expenses. |
