ad-Dukhan (Smoke, The Evident Smoke) 44:14

44:14 ثم تولوا عنه وقالوا معلم مجنون


TransliterationThumma tawallaw AAanhu waqaloo muAAallamun majnoonun
LiteralThen they turned away from Him and they said: "Taught/instructed/informed, mad/insane."

Yusuf AliYet they turn away from him and say: "Tutored (by others), a man possessed!"
PickthalAnd they had turned away from him and said: One taught (by others), a madman?
Arberry then they turned away from him and said, 'A man tutored, possessed!'
ShakirYet they turned their backs on him and said: One taught (by others), a madman.
