| 10:40 ومنهم من يؤمن به ومنهم من لايؤمن به وربك اعلم بالمفسدين | |
| Transliteration | Waminhum man yu/minu bihi waminhum man la yu/minu bihi warabbuka aAAlamu bialmufsideena |
| Literal | And from them who believed with it, and from them who does not believe with it, and your Lord (is) more knowledgeable with the corrupting . |
| Yusuf Ali | Of them there are some who believe therein, and some who do not: and thy Lord knoweth best those who are out for mischief. |
| Pickthal | And of them is he who believeth therein, and of them is he who believeth not therein, and thy Lord is Best Aware of the corrupters. |
| Arberry | And some of them believe in it, and some believe not in it. Thy Lord knows very well those who do corruption. |
