| Transliteration | Waisbir fa-inna Allaha la yudeeAAu ajra almuhsineena |
| Literal | And be patient, so then God does not waste/loose/destroy the good doers' reward/wage . |
| Yusuf Ali | And be steadfast in patience; for verily Allah will not suffer the reward of the righteous to perish. |
| Pickthal | And have patience, (O Muhammad), for lo! Allah loseth not the wages of the good. |
