| Transliteration | Innama sultanuhu AAala allatheena yatawallawnahu waallatheena hum bihi mushrikoona |
| Literal | But his power/control (is) on those who follow him, and those whom (are) with him, (they are) sharing/taking partners (as gods). |
| Yusuf Ali | His authority is over those only, who take him as patron and who join partners with Allah. |
