Transliteration | Innama sultanuhu AAala allatheena yatawallawnahu waallatheena hum bihi mushrikoona |
Literal | But his power/control (is) on those who follow him, and those whom (are) with him, (they are) sharing/taking partners (as gods). |
Yusuf Ali | His authority is over those only, who take him as patron and who join partners with Allah. |
Pickthal | His power is only over those who make a friend of him, and those who ascribe partners unto Him (Allah). |
Arberry | his authority is over those who take him for their friend and ascribe associates to God. |
