| 16:123 ثم اوحينا اليك ان اتبع ملة ابراهيم حنيفا وماكان من المشركين | |
| Transliteration | Thumma awhayna ilayka ani ittabiAA millata ibraheema haneefan wama kana mina almushrikeena |
| Literal | Then We inspired/transmitted to you that follow Abraham's religion/faith, (he was) a submitter/Moslem/Unifier of God and (he) was not from the sharers/takers of partners (with God). |
| Yusuf Ali | So We have taught thee the inspired (Message), "Follow the ways of Abraham the True in Faith, and he joined not gods with Allah." |
| Pickthal | And afterward We inspired thee (Muhammad, saying): Follow the religion of Abraham, as one by nature upright. He was not of the idolaters. |
| Arberry | Then We revealed to thee: 'Follow thou the creed of Abraham, a man of pure faith and no idolater.' |
