| 16:64 وماانزلنا عليك الكتاب الا لتبين لهم الذي اختلفوا فيه وهدى ورحمة لقوم يؤمنون | |
| Transliteration | Wama anzalna AAalayka alkitaba illa litubayyina lahumu allathee ikhtalafoo feehi wahudan warahmatan liqawmin yu/minoona |
| Literal | And We did not descend on you The Book except to clarify/show/explain to them what they differed/disagreed/disputed in it, and guidance and mercy to a nation believing. |
| Yusuf Ali | And We sent down the Book to thee for the express purpose, that thou shouldst make clear to them those things in which they differ, and that it should be a guide and a mercy to those who believe. |
| Pickthal | And We have revealed the Scripture unto thee only that thou mayst explain unto them that wherein they differ, and (as) a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe. |
