| 16:72 والله جعل لكم من انفسكم ازواجا وجعل لكم من ازواجكم بنين وحفدة ورزقكم من الطيبات افبالباطل يؤمنون وبنعمة الله هم يكفرون | |
| Transliteration | WaAllahu jaAAala lakum min anfusikum azwajan wajaAAala lakum min azwajikum baneena wahafadatan warazaqakum mina alttayyibati afabialbatili yu/minoona wabiniAAmati Allahi hum yakfuroona |
| Literal | And God made/created for you from yourselves spouses , and He made/created for you from your spouses sons/sons and daughters, and sons of your sons , and He provided for you from the goodnesses . Is it with the falsehood they believe, and with Gods' blessing/goodness they disbelieve? |
| Yusuf Ali | And Allah has made for you mates (and companions) of your own nature, and made for you, out of them, sons and daughters and grandchildren, and provided for you sustenance of the best: will they then believe in vain things, and be ungrateful for Allah's favours?- |
