| 2:176 ذلك بان الله نزل الكتاب بالحق وان الذين اختلفوا في الكتاب لفي شقاق بعيد | |
| Transliteration | Thalika bi-anna Allaha nazzala alkitaba bialhaqqi wa-inna allatheena ikhtalafoo fee alkitabi lafee shiqaqin baAAeedin |
| Literal | That (is) with that God descended the Book with the truth and that those who disagreed/disputed in The Book (are) in (E) (a) far defiance/disobedience . |
| Yusuf Ali | (Their doom is) because Allah sent down the Book in truth but those who seek causes of dispute in the Book are in a schism Far (from the purpose). |
| Pickthal | That is because Allah hath revealed the Scripture with the truth. Lo! those who find (a cause of) disagreement in the Scripture are in open schism. |
