| 45:16 ولقد اتينا بني اسرائيل الكتاب والحكم والنبوة ورزقناهم من الطيبات وفضلناهم على العالمين | |
| Transliteration | Walaqad atayna banee isra-eela alkitaba waalhukma waalnnubuwwata warazaqnahum mina alttayyibati wafaddalnahum AAala alAAalameena |
| Literal | And We had (E) given/brought to Israel's sons and daughters The Book , and the judgment/rule, and the prophethood, and We provided for them from the goodnesses , and We preferred/favoured them over the creations all together/(universes). |
| Yusuf Ali | We did aforetime grant to the Children of Israel the Book the Power of Command, and Prophethood; We gave them, for Sustenance, things good and pure; and We favoured them above the nations. |
