| 5:62 وترى كثيرا منهم يسارعون في الاثم والعدوان واكلهم السحت لبئس ما كانوا يعملون | |
| Transliteration | Watara katheeran minhum yusariAAoona fee al-ithmi waalAAudwani waaklihimu alssuhta labi/sa ma kanoo yaAAmaloona |
| Literal | And you see many from them, quickening/rushing in the sin/crime, and the transgression/aggression ,and their eating the forbidden/possessions acquired through cheatery , how bad (E) (is) what they were73making/doing? |
| Yusuf Ali | Many of them dost thou see, racing each other in sin and rancour, and their eating of things forbidden. Evil indeed are the things that they do. |
| Pickthal | And thou seest many of them vying one with another in sin and transgression and their devouring of illicit gain. Verily evil is what they do. |
