| 5:83 واذا سمعوا ماانزل الى الرسول ترى اعينهم تفيض من الدمع مما عرفوا من الحق يقولون ربنا امنا فاكتبنا مع الشاهدين | |
| Transliteration | Wa-itha samiAAoo ma onzila ila alrrasooli tara aAAyunahum tafeedu mina alddamAAi mimma AAarafoo mina alhaqqi yaqooloona rabbana amanna faoktubna maAAa alshshahideena |
| Literal | And if they heard what was descended to the messenger, you see their eyes flow from the tears from what they knew from the truth , they say: "Our Lord, we believed, so write us with the witnessing/testifying." |
| Yusuf Ali | And when they listen to the revelation received by the Messenger, thou wilt see their eyes overflowing with tears, for they recognise the truth: they pray: "Our Lord! we believe; write us down among the witnesses. |
