58:13 ءاشفقتم ان تقدموا بين يدي نجواكم صدقات فاذ لم تفعلوا وتاب الله عليكم فاقيموا الصلاة واتوا الزكاة واطيعوا الله ورسوله والله خبير بما تعملون | |
Transliteration | Aashfaqtum an tuqaddimoo bayna yaday najwakum sadaqatin fa-ith lam tafAAaloo wataba Allahu AAalaykum faaqeemoo alssalata waatoo alzzakata waateeAAoo Allaha warasoolahu waAllahu khabeerun bima taAAmaloona |
Literal | Have you (been) cautious/guarding against that (E) you advance/present between your confidential talk's/secret conversation's hand, charities, so if you do not make/do , and God forgave on you, so keep up the prayers, and give/bring the charity/ purification , and obey God and His messenger, and God (is) expert/experienced with what you make/do . |
Yusuf Ali | Is it that ye are afraid of spending sums in charity before your private consultation (with him)? If, then, ye do not so, and Allah forgives you, then (at least) establish regular prayer; practise regular charity; and obey Allah and His Messenger. And Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do. |
