| 6:150 قل هلم شهداءكم الذين يشهدون ان الله حرم هذا فان شهدوا فلا تشهد معهم ولاتتبع اهواء الذين كذبوا باياتنا والذين لايؤمنون بالاخرة وهم بربهم يعدلون | |
| Transliteration | Qul halumma shuhadaakumu allatheena yashhadoona anna Allaha harrama hatha fa-in shahidoo fala tashhad maAAahum wala tattabiAA ahwaa allatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatina waallatheena la yu/minoona bial-akhirati wahum birabbihim yaAAdiloona |
| Literal | Say: "Come/bring your witnesses/testifiers, those who witness/testify that God forbade this." So if they witnessed/testified, so do not witness/testify with them and do not follow (the) self attractions for desires (of) those who denied/falsified with Our verses/evidences , and those who do not believe with the end (other life), and they are with their Lord are making equals." |
| Yusuf Ali | Say: "Bring forward your witnesses to prove that Allah did forbid so and so." If they bring such witnesses, be not thou amongst them: Nor follow thou the vain desires of such as treat our signs as falsehoods, and such as believe not in the Hereafter: for they hold others as equal with their Guardian-Lord. |

However, in an emergency, when one does not have any intention of rebelling or transgressing against the law, your Lord will be All-forgiving and All-merciful. |
| Khalifa | Say, "Bring your witnesses who would testify that GOD has prohibited this or that." If they testify, do not testify with them. Nor shall you follow the opinions of those who reject our revelations, and those who disbelieve in the Hereafter, and those who stray away from their Lord. |
