| 6:30 ولو ترى اذ وقفوا على ربهم قال اليس هذا بالحق قالوا بلى وربنا قال فذوقوا العذاب بما كنتم تكفرون | |
| Transliteration | Walaw tara ith wuqifoo AAala rabbihim qala alaysa hatha bialhaqqi qaloo bala warabbina qala fathooqoo alAAathaba bima kuntum takfuroona |
| Literal | And if you see/understand if they stopped/arrested at their Lord, he said: "Is that not with the truth/real ?" They said: "Yes/certainly, by our Lord." He said: "So taste/experience the torture, with what you were disbelieving." |
| Yusuf Ali | If thou couldst but see when they are confronted with their Lord! He will say: "Is not this the truth?" They will say: "Yea, by our Lord!" He will say: "Taste ye then the penalty, because ye rejected Faith." |
