6:76 فلما جن عليه الليل راى كوكبا قال هذا ربي فلما افل قال لااحب الافلين | |
Transliteration | Falamma janna AAalayhi allaylu raa kawkaban qala hatha rabbee falamma afala qala la ohibbu al-afileena |
Literal | So when the night darkened on him, he saw a star/planet, he said: "That (is) my lord." So when it set/darkened, he said: "I do not like the setting/disappearing." |
Yusuf Ali | When the night covered him over, He saw a star: He said: "This is my Lord." But when it set, He said: "I love not those that set." |
