60:2 ان يثقفوكم يكونوا لكم اعداء ويبسطوا اليكم ايديهم والسنتهم بالسوء وودوا لو تكفرون | |
Transliteration | In yathqafookum yakoonoo lakam aAAdaan wayabsutoo ilaykum aydiyahum waalsinatahum bialssoo-i wawaddoo law takfuroona |
Literal | If they defeat/overcome you they be for you enemies, and they extend/spread their hands and their tongues to you with the bad/evil/harm, and they wished/loved if you disbelieve. |
Yusuf Ali | If they were to get the better of you, they would behave to you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you for evil: and they desire that ye should reject the Truth. |
