72:10 وانالاندري اشر اريد بمن في الارض ام اراد بهم ربهم رشدا | |
Transliteration | Waanna la nadree asharrun oreeda biman fee al-ardi am arada bihim rabbuhum rashadan |
Literal | 'And that we, we do not know is (it) bad/evil/harmful (is) wanted/intended with who (is) in the earth/Planet Earth, or their Lord wanted/intended correct/right guidance with (for) them .' |
Yusuf Ali | 'And we understand not whether ill is intended to those on earth, or whether their Lord (really) intends to guide them to right conduct. |
Pickthal | And we know not whether harm is boded unto all who are in the earth, or whether their Lord intendeth guidance for them. |
Arberry | And so we know not whether evil is intended for those in the earth, or whether their Lord intends for them rectitude. |
Shakir | And that we know not whether evil is meant for those who are on earth or whether their Lord means to bring them good: |
