| 8:39 وقاتلوهم حتى لاتكون فتنة ويكون الدين كله لله فان انتهوا فان الله بما يعملون بصير | |
| Transliteration | Waqatiloohum hatta la takoona fitnatun wayakoona alddeenu kulluhu lillahi fa-ini intahaw fa-inna Allaha bima yaAAmaloona baseerun |
| Literal | And fight/kill them until (there) be no misguidance/betrayal , and the religion, all of it be to God, so if they ended/stopped , so that God (is) seeing/knowing with what they make/do . |
| Yusuf Ali | And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily Allah doth see all that they do. |
| Pickthal | And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is all for Allah. But if they cease, then lo! Allah is Seer of what they do. |
