9:64 يحذر المنافقون ان تنزل عليهم سورة تنبئهم بما في قلوبهم قل استهزؤوا ان الله مخرج ماتحذرون | |
Transliteration | Yahtharu almunafiqoona an tunazzala AAalayhim sooratun tunabbi-ohum bima fee quloobihim quli istahzi-oo inna Allaha mukhrijun ma tahtharoona |
Literal | The hypocrites are afraid/cautious that a chapter of the Koran be descended on them to inform them with what (is) in their hearts/minds . Say: "Mock/make fun , that God (is) bringing out what you are cautious/afraid of." |
Yusuf Ali | The Hypocrites are afraid lest a Sura should be sent down about them, showing them what is (really passing) in their hearts. Say: "Mock ye! But verily Allah will bring to light all that ye fear (should be revealed). |
Pickthal | The hypocrites fear lest a surah should be revealed concerning them, proclaiming what is in their hearts. Say: Scoff (your fill)! Lo! Allah is disclosing what ye fear. |
