| 11:9 ولئن اذقنا الانسان منا رحمة ثم نزعناها منه انه ليؤس كفور | |
| Transliteration | Wala-in athaqna al-insana minna rahmatan thumma nazaAAnaha minhu innahu layaoosun kafoorun |
| Literal | And if (E) We made the human/mankind taste/experience from Us mercy, then We removed it from him, that he truly is (a) despairing/hopeless (E) (insistent) disbeliever/(insisting) disbelief. |
| Yusuf Ali | If We give man a taste of Mercy from Ourselves, and then withdraw it from him, behold! he is in despair and (falls into) blasphemy. |
