| 11:92 قال ياقوم ارهطي اعز عليكم من الله واتخذتموه وراءكم ظهريا ان ربي بما تعملون محيط | |
| Transliteration | Qala ya qawmi arahtee aAAazzu AAalaykum mina Allahi waittakhathtumoohu waraakum thihriyyan inna rabbee bima taAAmaloona muheetun |
| Literal | He said: "You (my) nation, is my tribe/group dearer to you than God, and you took Him behind you forgotten behind the back? That my Lord (is) with what you make/do surrounding ." |
| Yusuf Ali | He said: "O my people! is then my family of more consideration with you than Allah? For ye cast Him away behind your backs (with contempt). But verily my Lord encompasseth on all sides all that ye do! |
| Pickthal | He said: O my people! Is my family more to be honoured by you than Allah? and ye put Him behind you, neglected! Lo! my Lord surroundeth what ye do. |
