| 14:45 وسكنتم في مساكن الذين ظلموا انفسهم وتبين لكم كيف فعلنا بهم وضربنا لكم الامثال | |
| Transliteration | Wasakantum fee masakini allatheena thalamoo anfusahum watabayyana lakum kayfa faAAalna bihim wadarabna lakumu al-amthala |
| Literal | And you resided in those who were unjust/oppressive (to) themselves' residences, and how We made/did with them was clarified/shown for you, and We gave to you the examples/proverbs. |
| Yusuf Ali | "And ye dwelt in the dwellings of men who wronged their own souls; ye were clearly shown how We dealt with them; and We put forth (many) parables in your behoof!" |
