| 2:160 الا الذين تابوا واصلحوا وبينوا فاولئك اتوب عليهم وانا التواب الرحيم | |
| Transliteration | Illa allatheena taboo waaslahoo wabayyanoo faola-ika atoobu AAalayhim waana alttawwabu alrraheemu |
| Literal | Except those who repented and corrected/repaired and clarified/explained , so those I forgive on them, and I am the forgiver, the most merciful . |
| Yusuf Ali | Except those who repent and make amends and openly declare (the Truth): To them I turn; for I am Oft-returning, Most Merciful. |
