| 3:137 قد خلت من قبلكم سنن فسيروا في الارض فانظروا كيف كان عاقبة المكذبين | |
| Transliteration | Qad khalat min qablikum sunanun faseeroo fee al-ardi faonthuroo kayfa kana AAaqibatu almukaththibeena |
| Literal | Laws/ways had past/left from before you, so move/walk in the earth/Planet Earth, so look/consider how was the liars'/denier's end (result) . |
| Yusuf Ali | Many were the Ways of Life that have passed away before you: travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those who rejected Truth. |
