al-Imran (The Family of Imran, The House of Imran)

3:88 خالدين فيها لايخفف عنهم العذاب ولاهم ينظرون


TransliterationKhalideena feeha la yukhaffafu AAanhumu alAAathabu wala hum yuntharoona
LiteralImmortally/eternally in it, the torture is not reduced/lightened on/from them, and nor they be given time/delayed .

Yusuf AliIn that will they dwell; nor will their penalty be lightened, nor respite be (their lot);-
PickthalThey will abide therein. Their doom will not be lightened, neither will they be reprieved;
Arberry therein dwelling forever; the chastisement shall not be lightened for them; no respite shall be given them.
ShakirAbiding in it; their chastisement shall not be lightened nor shall they be respited.
Sarwarwith which they will live forever. Their torment will not be relieved and no attention will be paid to them.
KhalifaEternally they abide therein; the retribution is never commuted for them, nor will they be reprieved.
Hilali/KhanThey will abide therein (Hell). Neither will their torment be lightened, nor will it be delayed or postponed (for a while).
H/K/SaheehAbiding eternally therein. The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved.
MalikThey shall remain under it forever; neither will their punishment be lightened nor will they be given respite.[88]
QXPThey have chosen for themselves this deprivation in which they will abide without relief.
Maulana AliAbiding therein. Their chastisement shall not be lightened, nor shall they be respited --
Free MindsEternally they will abide in it, the retribution will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved.
Qaribullah there they shall live for ever. Their punishment shall not be lightened, nor shall they be given respite.
