42:36 فما اوتيتم من شئ فمتاع الحياة الدنيا وماعند الله خير وابقى للذين امنوا وعلى ربهم يتوكلون | |
Transliteration | Fama ooteetum min shay-in famataAAu alhayati alddunya wama AAinda Allahi khayrun waabqa lillatheena amanoo waAAala rabbihim yatawakkaloona |
Literal | So what you were given from a thing so (it is) long life/enjoyment (of) the life the present/worldly life, and what (is) at God (is) better and more lasting (everlasting) to those who believed and on their Lord, they rely/depend . |
Yusuf Ali | Whatever ye are given (here) is (but) a convenience of this life: but that which is with Allah is better and more lasting: (it is) for those who believe and put their trust in their Lord: |
