50:45 نحن اعلم بما يقولون وماانت عليهم بجبار فذكر بالقران من يخاف وعيد | |
Transliteration | Nahnu aAAlamu bima yaqooloona wama anta AAalayhim bijabbarin fathakkir bialqur-ani man yakhafu waAAeedi |
Literal | We are more knowledgeable with what they say, and you are not on them with a tyrant , so remind with the Koran who fears My threat.383 |
Yusuf Ali | We know best what they say; and thou art not one to overawe them by force. So admonish with the Qur'an such as fear My Warning! |
Pickthal | We are Best Aware of what they say, and thou (O Muhammad) art in no wise a compeller over them. But warn by the Qur'an him who feareth My threat. |
Arberry | We know very well what they say; thou art not a tyrant over them. Therefore remind by the Koran him who fears My threat. |
