| Transliteration | Wa-ismaAAeela wailyasaAAa wayoonusa walootan wakullan faddalna AAala alAAalameena |
| Literal | And Ishmael, and Elija, and Jonah, and Lot, and each/all We preferred/favoured on the creations altogether/(universes). |
| Yusuf Ali | And Isma'il and Elisha, and Jonas, and Lot: and to all We gave favour above the nations: |
