| 7:56 ولاتفسدوا في الارض بعد اصلاحها وادعوه خوفا وطمعا ان رحمة الله قريب من المحسنين | |
| Transliteration | Wala tufsidoo fee al-ardi baAAda islahiha waodAAoohu khawfan watamaAAan inna rahmata Allahi qareebun mina almuhsineena |
| Literal | And do not corrupt/disorder in the earth/Planet Earth after its correction/repairment, and call Him fearfully/frightfully wishing/coveting , that God's mercy (is) near/close from the good doers. |
| Yusuf Ali | Do no mischief on the earth, after it hath been set in order, but call on Him with fear and longing (in your hearts): for the Mercy of Allah is (always) near to those who do good. |
