| 7:59 لقد ارسلنا نوحا الى قومه فقال ياقوم اعبدوا الله مالكم من اله غيره اني اخاف عليكم عذاب يوم عظيم | |
| Transliteration | Laqad arsalna noohan ila qawmihi faqala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha ma lakum min ilahin ghayruhu innee akhafu AAalaykum AAathaba yawmin AAatheemin |
| Literal | We had sent Noah to his nation, so he said: "My nation worship God, (there) is not a God for you from other than Him, that I, I fear on (for) you a great day's torture." |
| Yusuf Ali | We sent Noah to his people. He said: "O my people! worship Allah! ye have no other god but Him. I fear for you the punishment of a dreadful day! |
