| Transliteration | Faqala lahum rasoolu Allahi naqata Allahi wasuqyaha | 
| Literal | So God's messenger said to them: "God's female camel, and its drink/drinking (water)." | 
| Yusuf Ali | But the Messenger of Allah said to them: "It is a She-camel of Allah! And (bar her not from) having her drink!" | 
| Pickthal | And the messenger of Allah said: It is the she-camel of Allah, so let her drink! |
