108:1 سورة الكوثر بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ٛــــ انا اعطيناك الكوثر |

Transliteration | Inna aAAtaynaka alkawthara |
Literal | We (E), We gave/granted you the abundance (of goodness). |
|
|
Yusuf Ali | To thee have We granted the Fount (of Abundance). |
Pickthal | Lo! We have given thee Abundance; |
Arberry | Surely We have given thee abundance; |
Shakir | Surely We have given you Kausar, |
Sarwar | (Muhammad), We have granted you abundant virtue. |
Khalifa | We have blessed you with many a bounty. |
Hilali/Khan | Verily, We have granted you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) Al-Kauthar (a river in Paradise); |
H/K/Saheeh | Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muúammad], al-Kawthar. |
Malik | O Muhammad, surely We have granted you the Kauthar (countless blessings, plenty).[1] |
QXP | Behold, We have bestowed upon you Abundant Good. (The ever flowing stream of Wisdom and Knowledge in this Qur'an (13:35), (14:24-25)). |
Maulana Ali | Surely We have given thee abundance of good. |
Free Minds | We have given you plenty. |
Qaribullah | Indeed, We have given you (Prophet Muhammad) the abundance (Al Kawthar: river, its pool and springs). |

108:2 فصل لربك وانحر |

Transliteration | Fasalli lirabbika wainhar |
Literal | So pray to your Lord, and be perfect/excellent/slaughter (for charity) . |

|
Yusuf Ali | Therefore to thy Lord turn in Prayer and Sacrifice. |
Pickthal | So pray unto thy Lord, and sacrifice. |
Arberry | so pray unto thy Lord and sacrifice. |
Shakir | Therefore pray to your Lord and make a sacrifice. |
Sarwar | So worship your Lord and make sacrificial offerings. |
Khalifa | Therefore, you shall pray to your Lord (Salat), and give to charity. |
Hilali/Khan | Therefore turn in prayer to your Lord and sacrifice (to Him only). |
H/K/Saheeh | So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone]. |
Malik | Therefore, offer Salah (prayer) to your Lord and sacrifice.[2] |
QXP | Therefore, follow the Commands of your Lord and convey them to others so that they might follow as well. And sacrifice your comfort for the welfare of the community. ('Sall' = Follow closely. 'Nahr' = Sacrifice = Sacrificing a camel = Sacrificing one's own comfort and resources for a noble cause). |
Maulana Ali | So pray to thy Lord and sacrifice. |
Free Minds | Therefore, you shall reach out to your Lord, and sacrifice. |
Qaribullah | So pray to your Lord and sacrifice. |

al-Kauthar 108:003
108:3 ان شانئك هو الابتر |

|
Transliteration | Inna shani-aka huwa al-abtaru |
Literal | That truly your hater and enemy, he is the mean and despised/of no good . |
|
|
Yusuf Ali | For he who hateth thee, he will be cut off (from Future Hope). |
Pickthal | Lo! it is thy insulter (and not thou) who is without posterity. |
Arberry | Surely he that hates thee, he is the one cut off. |
Shakir | Surely your enemy is the one who shall be without posterity, |
Sarwar | Whoever hates you will himself remain childless. |
Khalifa | Your opponent will be the loser. |
Hilali/Khan | For he who makes you angry (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)), - he will be cut off (from every good thing in this world and in the Hereafter). |
H/K/Saheeh | Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off. |
Malik | Surely your enemy is the one who will be cut off from the root.[3] |
QXP | Verily, it is your opponent that will be cutting himself off from the Abundant Good. |
Maulana Ali | Surely thy enemy is cut off (from good). |
Free Minds | Indeed your rival will be the loser. |
Qaribullah | Surely, he who hates you, he is the most severed. |
