| Transliteration | Wala ana AAabidun ma AAabadtum |
| Literal | And nor I am worshipping what you worshipped. |
| Yusuf Ali | And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship, |
| Pickthal | And I shall not worship that which ye worship. |
| Arberry | nor am I serving what you have served, |
| Shakir | Nor am I going to serve that which you serve, |
